I'm going to get in the swing of things and start posting here again. I don't know why I stopped six weeks ago, I think I've just been busy with other things. I typically try to post when things are notable in life, but nothing terribly notable has happened in a while... but today, today was a milestone. I posted my first Harry Potter and the Remnants of the Soul chapter in 15 months. Coming in at 5,800 words, I only have 74,200 to go by the end of the year to satisfy my New Years resolution. Oops.
In other news. I went to Minnesota last weekend to see Kyliah, John, Samantha, and Andreu. It was FREAKING COLD. So COLD, I'm never going north of Chicago between November and April again. Samantha and Andreu can just start calling me uncle Summer from now on.
Also, I made good progress on Christmas shopping today. I also want to write an entry about a thought I had at today's church service regarding the Underground Railroad. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. I should be in bed right now, but I'm hoping to get a 'feel good' review from my new chapter so I can go to sleep with a big smile on my face.
Finally, I decided today that I would like to title something (a story, a book, a blog post, I'm not sure what): Suffering, Perseverance, Character, and Hope. I think it's a dramatic title. That's all.
Peace be with you,
Byron
