It is Good Friday today. Its been a long time since I have written anything for this space, but I have lots of good reasons.
Anyhow, Spring Break passed the week before last, and classes resumed on Monday. I had a financial accounting exam on Wednesday that made me feel bad. The Professor said it was tough, and every one I have spoken to said they had a rough go... but it doesn't keep me from feeling like a dope. I hope I didn't do too badly, because I need to pass the class, hopefully with at least a B.
The other classes had a bit more mercy in the pace with which they resumed. The week was pretty light, although I am and have been extremely tired all week.
My parents came down to visit me last weekend. It was enjoyable. We walked around Bloomington and had dinner at the Olive Garden on Saturday night. On Sunday we went to the morning service at Church, took a nap, went on a hike in the Hoosier National Forest, and then went to 'Connexion' before they went home. Its always enjoyable to see the parents.
I'm going home this weekend for Easter. I'll probably leave Saturday afternoon and come back Sunday. This is of course going to be frustrating because I set both of my fantasy baseball drafts for Sunday afternoon before I realized this Sunday was Easter. The good news is that this is the last weekend before baseball starts.
Oooooooh, I can't wait. Well, the job situation is still up in the air a bit. I had a second interview two weeks ago in Cincinnati that went pretty well. I'd really like to work for that company, but I haven't heard back from them yet.
The other options at this point haven't panned out, so hopefully I'll get the job in Cincy, or I'll just end up moving out West on faith. That would probably cost me more in Pepto Bismo than anything else. Still, it might make a good story for the Grand-Kids one day. We'll see. Things will work out... I hope. :)
